LAWO & PAT are holding ‘Future Radio’ days in Sydney and Auckland in May. International speakers will discuss subjects such as Cloud Radio, IP Technologies, Cutting Edge Projects, Security and many other important subjects.

Based in Auckland, Heard will bridge the gap between engineering and sales for the company as Senior Solutions Architect, while also being involved in project management and of course guiding the company’s technology decisions.

Nova Entertainment in Sydney is at the cutting edge again as part of the Network’s ‘Future Studios Project’, embracing LAWO Ruby consoles and Power Core IP Audio I/O & DSP Nodes.

In October 2020, the NINE Network commissioned its brand new cutting edge broadcast facility at 1 Denison Street in North Sydney. Professional Audio & Television supplied LAWO’s Virtual Studio Manager as the control system and LAWO’s V_Matrix, TSL Products monitors as well as local support services during the build.

MediaWorks Radio announced recently that all of their radio formats have now been switched over to the new high tech, purpose build MediaWorks facility in Hargreaves Street, Auckland. The new multiformat facility in Central Auckland, is housing 9 of MediaWorks main radio brands with the addition of the digital channels and some spare studios.

Over the last year SKY News have been working with PAT to install a brand new LAWO mc56 MKIII in their studios. Keith Cooper, Sky News’ Audio systems architect, gave some insight into this project via Content & Technology magazine earlier this month.
